Please, like he says, look it up.
You will find a matching, but better looking condition Charlottesville musket (it was a French model 1763 Charleville) that sold for $3950.
by Morphy Auctions in 2016, price including an original bayonet and the 20% buyer’s premium.
I courteously asked him what he would take and he would not return the favor of any reply.
Notice how the pictures do not show a close up of the lock; he doesn’t want the buying public to know too much so we might figure out that, at best, it’s a well under $4000 gun.
Just returning the favor of his courtesy and as a service to the buying public.
