Antique Early 1800's Stoneware Crock #3 marked blue number (3 Gal) #3 Cock numbered in blue and no other blue markings other than what is photographed.
I understand the number corresponds for measurement of 3 Gallons.
altho it looks to hold 5 gallons.
Glazed stoneware Height: 10.
25" Diameter: 10.
75" 4 small 1/2" chips and numerous maybe 9 flea bites--that do not interfere w crock retaining liquids if used for that reason other than being used decoratively.
