Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team.
As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations.
This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to operate heavy equipment.
Responsibilities: - Safely and efficiently operate a variety of trucks, including delivery trucks, roll-off trucks, and refrigerated trailers - Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment as needed - Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods - Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in proper working order - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays - Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues that may arise Skills: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks - Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures - Familiarity with refrigerated trailers and temperature control systems - Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles - Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines - Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and other team members This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
