Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our dynamic team.
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store and leading a team of dedicated employees.
This is a leadership role that requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective store operations
- Train new team members on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and address any performance issues in a timely manner
- Create employee schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer demand
- Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment and conducting regular audits
- Handle cash handling procedures, including opening and closing the cash register
- Assist with administrative tasks such as payroll processing, budgeting, and reporting
- Utilize the POS system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with other team leaders to ensure seamless coordination between departments
Experience:
- Previous experience in store management or leadership role is required
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, payroll, and inventory management
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficient in using POS systems and other retail software applications
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and suppliers
- Excellent mathematical skills for cash handling and inventory calculations
- Demonstrated ability to stock shelves and maintain organized displays
