*Position Overview:* iVox is seeking a skilled and experienced Handyman and Janitor Supervisor to oversee our maintenance and janitorial operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility maintenance, repairs, and janitorial services, as well as proven leadership abilities.
As the Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of our maintenance and janitorial team to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our facilities.
*Responsibilities:*
* Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of maintenance and janitorial staff, including assigning tasks, scheduling work shifts, and providing guidance and training as needed.
* Perform general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, painting, and HVAC maintenance.
* Oversee the cleaning and sanitization of facilities, including restrooms, offices, common areas, and outdoor spaces.
* Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance and janitorial needs, safety hazards, and cleanliness standards compliance.
* Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment, and coordinate replenishment as needed.
* Develop and implement maintenance and cleaning schedules, procedures, and protocols to ensure efficient and thorough service delivery.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards in all maintenance and janitorial activities.
* Communicate effectively with clients, tenants, and management to address maintenance and janitorial concerns, coordinate service requests, and maintain positive relationships.
* Monitor and report on departmental performance, including productivity, quality of work, and customer satisfaction metrics.
* Provide leadership, support, and mentorship to maintenance and janitorial staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
*Qualifications:*
* Proven experience in facility maintenance, repairs, and janitorial services, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of general maintenance techniques, janitorial procedures, and building systems.
* Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as cleaning equipment and supplies.
* Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
* Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and best practices related to facility maintenance and janitorial services.
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or vocational training in maintenance, facilities management, or related field is a plus.
