"Director of First Impressions" / Receptionist needed.
We are a high volume real estate agency, our beautiful office is almost always busy, and our receptionist is our first impression! We want to be impressed by you! This is a Full Time position, offering $12-$18/hour depending on experience and skill set.
TO QUALIFY: The ideal candidate will have plenty of previous clerical experience in an office environment.
Applications will not be considered if no previous receptionist or similar assistant experience.
Real estate experience is a plus, but not required.
Must provide 3 current references, with current contact information; applicants will not be considered without verifiable current references and phone numbers.
We need someone who enjoys working with people, with the ability to multi-task and handle busy phones and redirect calls, greet customers in the lobby, and maintain a calm and friendly attitude.
Our receptionist must have a positive and professional attitude with good phone etiquette, professional appearance, and positive work ethics.
REQUIRED SKILLS - This position requires experience and knowledge, and skills.
The right person will already possess the necessary technical office skills.
· Microsoft Office Suite skills are required as well as experience with computers in general, including how to operate independently.
Most duties include monitoring emails, updating database daily, creating and maintaining documents in Excel, MS Word and printing marketing materials, etc.
· Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.
g.
copy & fax machines, printers, trouble-shooting day-to-day print issues, etc.
) Must be able to help staff and agents with printing, faxing, scanning, machinery troubleshooting, maintain equipment supplies, etc.
· Positive communication skills, and solid written and verbal skills, good spelling is required and used all throughout the day with client names, etc.
· Ability to work independently with little supervision, adhering to company policies and guidelines.
Neatness and organization skills required.
· Ability to communicate well with other staff, management, and help maintain accurate records are important daily functions.
· Multitasking, greeting customers, answering phones requiring time-management skills, ability to prioritize tasks, assisting management and agents/staff with data entry, filing, using Excel, MS Word, Adobe Pro, etc.
· High school degree or GED; additional certifications in computer skills are a plus.
· References must be included with resume and will be checked.
Pay: $12.
00 - $18.
